If you’re not up for the great adventure and you just want to take it easy, Bamfield is the perfect place. Being a village on the ocean with a population of about 200, Bamfield really ticks to its own clock. There is no hustle or bustle it’s just laid back and beautiful. You could spend a day moseying down the boardwalk, go for lunch at the Bistro café’ (I suggest the fresh salmon burger with fries, accompanied by coffee or maybe a beer!) and then spend an afternoon at the magical Brady’s beach.
Take note: Bamfield general store has groceries and liquor. They accept cash, interact and credit cards.
The Bistro café only accepts cash!
There is also a post office and an art gallery/ trinket shop.
